Speaker will be Rodger Dewhurst of Gwenen Apiaries, Portreath. Rodger and his wife Carol have spent their life breeding and studying the Black Bee and have made many fascinating discoveries about this hardy, productive and indigenous bee.

We are looking forward to this talk which will be free with tea and cake afterwards, but we do invite donations to help with his expenses.  Any leftover donations will go in to the church funds . (new roof needed!) It’s a beautiful, peaceful church with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, very relaxed and informal.

The church carpark is large and level with plenty of easy parking.

The church is the isolated one standing on Church Lane, several fields above Argal reservoir; quite a dramatic setting.
