DESCRIPTION:Pam is a Master Beekeepers and has been keeping bees for over 25years. She is also a members of BIBBA and the Centrat Association of Beekeepers.\nPam’s background is in biological sciences. She was employed in microbiological research in the pharmaceutical industry for 30 years before becoming a freelance consultant and writer.\nUntil recently Pam was Chair of the BBKA Examinations Board.\nPam is particularly interested in scientific aspects of bees and their interaction with the environment and plants. Also the neglected area of historical aspects of bees\, the environment and beekeeping. She gives talks on these topics around the country.

DESCRIPTION:A Zoom talk from Clare Densley and Martin Hann of Buckfast Bees \nClare Densley has been keeping bees since 1992 and has worked at the Abbey for 10 years. She has also worked for two years as a seasonal bee inspector for Devon. “Working at the Abbey Bee department is the best job I have ever done. I’m so lucky to be able to indulge my passion for bees and get to share it with others.” \nMartin Hann has been working as a seasonal bee inspector for Devon and Cornwall for 3 years. We are incredibly fortunate to have Martin as part of our teaching\, planning and maintenance team. His knowledge and experience complements and enriches the bee department’s ethos to understand honey bee behaviour and therefore work with them as much as possible. \nMembers of WCBKA will get a Zoom invitation and link a few days prior to each meeting.
